New edition to the family

Jared and I decided to adopt a kitty to keep Smudge company. What we got was the runt of a litter whom Smudge despises...

Soot T. Woot was born in September but is still only 2 lbs. He is charcol gray with green eyes. He is so freakin cute! We weren't sure Smudge would get along with him but were thinking Smudge would not be frightened since he is so small. However Smudge is not a fan at all! Eventually we're hoping they will become friends. In the mean time Sooty is loving his new home. He christened us on his way home by doing a nice doody in the car so for an hour we had a lovely smell on the way home. Jared gave him a nice bath but he still stinks of his cat house so another bath soon is inevitable.

Right now he's sectioned off unless Smudge is outside. We're hoping he'll be just like Smudge one day. Outdoor cat catching all the rodents that don't belong!
