Well, another hurricane in CT

Yup, can you believe it?  Another freaking hurricane.  After last year and ten days without power, ugh, I'm so not looking forward to this.

Got the house ready today and then decided to take a drive around the coast, the calm before the storm. We saw a few houses boarded up (below) with messages to the hurricane.  

We also went to Clinton Town Beach, again, having just gone there yesterday.  That park is so fun but it was eery.  The wind was whipping around like crazy and the sky was an ominous color of gray.  Lyla and I ran around in the wind racing down the slides, flying on the swings, and running through the sand. It was good ol' fashion family fun.  Jared even got a few photos that are super cute.

Bring it on, Sandy!  We're ready!
