Bloggin to Brazil

I’m leaving for Belo Horizonte, Brazil today! Never in a million years would I have imagined I’d be off to Brazil. I love to travel and there are tons of places I want to and need to see. But Brazil has never been on this list. I’ve been more interested in seeing Chile and Argentina. But now that my work is sending me to Brazil, I’m pretty excited that my first visit to South America will be in Brazil.

Things I’ve learned about Brazil that I never would have known:
- the currency is called the Real but is pronounced hey-ow
- mosquito bites can cause dengue fever
- there’s a Google office in Belo Horizonte
