Count Your Blessings Wednesday

Today I'm grateful for:
  1. I had an ultrasound today (even though it sucked ass because I didn't get to see the baby pretty much at all AND they couldn't give me photos!!) and the baby is right on schedule size wise and looks healthy. So I am grateful for that.
  2. I am grateful for mac n cheese because I can eat it. Looks like I can alternate between mac n cheese and PB&J for now until my nausea ceases to exist. AND while I'm on this point, note to all mothers out there: STOP telling Jared that nausea stops at 12 weeks. He keeps telling me that other women say I shouldn't still be sick and it's driving me crazy. Every woman has different pregnancies so I'd appreciate if Jared was not told there is probably something wrong with me!!
  3. For my gigantic fleece sweatshirt and my warm fleece blanket - both of which I will be hanging on to all day as I freeze my ass off in this house. But I'd rather be cold than turn the heat up! I need to save my pennies for other things!!
  4. I'm thankful for my family and can't wait to see most of them next weekend in Orlando for Ryan and Heidi's wedding! Yay for vacation!
  5. I'm grateful zumba returns tonight! I've missed it!
  6. I'm grateful I got up wicked early today so I won't feel bad eating lunch at 10:30 this morning. Which gives me more time for my second lunch, yay!
  7. I'm thankful for milk; fresh, cold skim milk. Milk, it does the body good.
  8. I'm grateful sunny days.
  9. I'm thankful my mood is getting better from when I wrote #1 and #2 above because after this morning, I've been in a foul mood.
  10. I'm grateful for my health.
Every week, no matter how crabby or miserable I am, I make myself be thankful for 10 things. No matter how crappy life gets sometimes, it's always great to remember you are lucky. It is important to be thankful even if it's for the simplest of life's pleasures. I hope you all follow my lead and be thankful more often then just on Thanksgiving (which is my all time favorite holiday).

I am so happy to have had today with Jess, on his birthday. And I am blessed by having good friends and the health of my family.

I am blessed by your list each week, Jessie, that makes me smile and remember to be thankful.

XO,
Melissa
