First snow in EL!!

Walking in a winter wonderland...

So i know i'm a total geek, but we finally got a nice coat of snow at our house. it's snowed in CT of course before now but down in good ol' East Lyme we have not...

So i'm going to be even nerdier and show you some beautiful pictures of the beautiful snow!! there's something about the snow that makes everything look so peaceful and clean. it makes you want to stay in your pjs all day and drink hot cocoa and just look at it.

The trees look like they jumped out a painting they are so elegant. it must be such a treat to live in the north and have scenery like this every day!!

The best part is it's not super cold so you can really enjoy the outdoors. i'm hoping to go ice skating soon, just have to get my skates sharpened. maybe Jared will do it for me and then we can go tomorrow. unfortunately we're both traveling next week so we have to enjoy it now and before it melts :).
